What to expect from your trial lesson
The trial lesson is a chance for your child to meet me in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.
As meeting a new adult can feel daunting for children, the first part of the lesson is simply about getting to know each other through a few short fun games and activities. There's no pressure, and there's nothing to prepare; you just need to bring some paper and a pen.
Once your child is feeling relaxed, I will informally assess their current English level through some short engaging activities. This isn't a formal assessment: at this stage, it's simply a way for me to get a feel for where they are with their English, so that future sessions can be focused on the specific speaking and writing skills that will make the biggest difference for them.
